Amber Technology is one of Australia’s largest distributors of high-tech equipment solutions to the broadcast, film, recording, live production and home entertainment markets.
Today, Amber Technology has announced the resignation of Phil Simmons, General Manager of the Lifestyle Entertainment Group. Phil leaves Amber after nine years and has successfully built a focused team in both sales and brand management.
Phil joins one of Amber’s valued suppliers, Universal Electronics, as International Sales Director Asia Pacific Region, and will continue to be a great supporter of Amber Technology, particularly its Major Retail Group.
Amber Technology Managing Director Peter Amos said “We would like to thank Phil for his dedication, determination and positive attitude towards Amber Technology. He has led the Lifestyle Entertainment team through often turbulent times in the consumer market, maintaining and building a strong sales and brand management presence for the business.”
Amber Technology also announces the appointment of Richard Neale as General Manager, Lifestyle Entertainment, commencing November 2015.
“Richard brings new energy to Amber Technology management team at a time of positive change for the company. He adds valuable skills to support the structural adjustments we have made to our business model, and we are looking forward to introducing Richard to our staff and customers in November 2015,” commented Amber COO Robert Glasson.
