Career Opportunity: Customer Service Team Leader – AV Distribution
A full time position, Sydney-based.
The Opportunity
Due to internal promotion, an exciting opportunity for Team Leader – Customer Service has opened at this top technology distribution business. The team leader will manage the day to day activities of the customer service team ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction is achieved. This includes trade counter sales, sales order taking, resolving customer issues, customer credit checks, data entry, liaison with warehouse and sales reports. The customer service team also resolves credits, disputes and claims. As the team leader, you will hold regular meetings to ensure good communication of information across the organisation to the customer service team and resolving any issues that arise. You will liaise with the National Sales Manager and Account Managers across the business and assist with any client issues, including goods not delivered, to find a speedy resolution. You will work closely with all business units to ensure that the customer service team is giving them the required support and succeeding in their mission. You will also create and update customer service processes for your team as required.
Skills Required
Must have proven success in customer service, team leadership or similar role, ideally with a technology distribution business. Knowledge of audio visual technologies is essential, with the ability to talk in technical terms and understand what products are used for in terms of customer outcomes; a background as an AV technician would be highly desirable. Must be highly computer literate, with an understanding of order processing through an ERP system. This is a client facing role requiring excellent communication skills and strong commercial awareness.
