InSight Systems – AV Service Technician

We are looking for experienced AV Service Technicians to join our on-site teams. Reporting to the on-site Operational Manager, this is a hands-on service position dealing with a variety of AV technologies and based onsite at an educational institution or hospital.

Key Responsibilities
- Attending to faults as per client’s needs — ensuring support, maintenance and troubleshooting of their AV systems
- Provide professional support and proactive communication to clients — including up to date reports on any open service ticket
- Update internal registers and procedures to reflect the current status of rooms — includes maintenance reports
- Conduct Audits as required including compiling the report
- Provide Events support as required
- Ensure tickets are closed once satisfactorily completed
Skills and Experience
- Relevant experience in an AV incident response role
- Experience with AMX and Crestron control systems
- Experience in DSP programming is desirable
- Networking experience/certifications highly desirable
- Customer service experience
- Working with Children Check
- Problem solver, will own issues until full resolution
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
- Strong organisational, time management & prioritisation skills
- Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal staff and customers
- Exceed customer expectations — ability to create wow and delight moments with customers
