Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role will require you to lead engagement with the technical teams of our education clients and provide technical solutions support to both the Sales and Delivery sides of our business. This includes providing technical advice, facilitating client workshops, developing solutions and estimates in line with market and client requirements, producing high quality and technically accurate supporting documentation. The Solutions Architect will lead a team and be responsible for managing team tasking, deadlines, and quality control.

What about the role:

  • Produce documentation with a high degree of accuracy to enable effective sales, installation and commissioning of Audio Visual, Video Conferencing and Unified Communications systems, including the production of: bills of materials, proposals, tender responses, schematics, elevations and layout drawings, statements of works, proposals, RFQ’s and tender responses.
  • Produce accurate estimates and costings.
  • Build productive working relationships with project and client stakeholders.
  • Internal coordination with Citadel teams including sales, operations, warehousing, procurement and administration.
  • Manage a team of audio-visual engineers, including assigning tasks and managing deadlines.
  • Ensure high levels of quality are maintained in documentation and estimations, as well as providing excellent customer service.
  • Attend training and maintain certifications.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement of Citadel’s solution offering.

What experience or qualifications do I need:

  • 6 years of experience in the design and delivery of integrated and stand-alone AV collaboration systems and software and hardware-based video conferencing systems.
  • Experience with sales processes and experience with producing labour and hardware estimates.
  • Demonstrated understanding of networks, specifically relating to AV control systems, UC/VC and AV over IP technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of audio-visual products including Extron, Crestron, QSC, Biamp.
  • Qualifications: Crestron CTI Design Track, Q-SYS Level 2, Dante Leve 2, Avixa CTS, Extron AV Associate.
