A.P. Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, NSW.
AP Tech is a dynamic player in the AV technology distribution landscape. As an established and successful distributor, we are dedicated to providing innovative technology solutions for the education, audio-visual, Government, enterprise and SMB markets.
Our customers are AV integrators who manage the installation of advanced AV systems for a range of businesses and government entities, including many of Australia’s most prominent organisations.

In this exciting role, you will report directly to the managing director and be responsible for driving sales growth through existing business partners, expanding our network of supporting AV integrators, consultants, and reseller customers.
Your goal will be to generate new business by recruiting high-quality resellers and guiding them to success while meeting sales and revenue KPIs. Building solid relationships with key players in the relevant industries is crucial, as is creating and delivering compelling product demonstrations. Additionally, you will maintain CRM data, utilise sales tools to monitor performance, assist with conferences and trade shows, and regularly travel interstate.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be focused on customer success, be self-motivated, and be driven by results. You will have strong business acumen and an impressive presence during in-person and virtual interactions. You have exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Strong organisational skills and reliability are essential, as is a keen interest or experience in professional AV technology.

Candidates must have at least 5 years of proven sales experience, particularly in the education, AV integrator, and reseller markets. A clean driver’s license, own car, and Australian residency are required. Proficiency in English is essential.
