We are looking for experienced Events Experience Lead. This is a hands-on team leadership position, deals primarily ensuring the successful delivery of functions and events at a well respected educational institution.
Your responsibilities:
- Event and Staff Management
- Proactively ensuring all VIP events are catered for and client expectations are exceeded
- Day to day team management and rostering of technicians
- Oversight and innovation of the event service
- Ensuring the event equipment fleet is operational and up to date
- Production of high-quality performance reports as needed
- Updating internal registers and procedures to reflect the current status of events, rooms and service tickets
- Ensure exceptional quality standards are met and set KPIs are achieved
- Ensure users/clients receive regular updates and communication on open jobs
- Ensure tickets are closed once satisfactorily completed
- Update internal and external registers to reflect current status of rooms and asset information
- Provide professional support and proactive communication to clients
- Work with the Operational Manager and Managed Services Operations Manager on potential technical and service innovations at the client site
- Provide guidance and advice to the Operational Manager with technical information and report on technical faults, issues and shortcomings
- Participate in regular team meetings
Skills and requirements:
- Strong technical understanding with respect to event delivery, management and logistics
- Audio Visual and management qualifications or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience with service teams
- Strong understanding of video conference infrastructure and similar web-based technologies
- Understanding of ITIL methodology advantageous
- Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Professional personal presentation and history of exceptional work attendance
- Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both staff and clients
- Able to take a creative approach to situations and problem solving and own issues until full resolution
